This class will get you started as a Filmmaker. As a part of this course, you will make your own Documentary Short Film, at Low-No budget! And in just 1 month!

🎯 This practical course will provide you with an all-around filmmaking experience necessary to make your first Short film! This course will cover some theory, but the focus is hands-on experience in making a short film. It will prepare you to write and direct your own Short film.

🎯 This course will prepare you to enter the film industry as an Assistant Director.

🎯 This intensive course demands that you have a passion for filmmaking and commit to hard work and team effort.

🎯 Learn the art and skills of making a Story based Short film with a low budget.

🎯 Learn the art of Writing and Directing a Documentary film with a low budget.

🎯 You will learn to make a Documentary film independently or with a small team.

🎯 As a part of this course, you will Write, Shoot and Edit a Documentary short film. You will learn how to submit the finished film at a few Film festivals.

📣 SUCCESS STORIES: Most of our alumni have made their own Documentary short films. Some of our students have become Film makers. Some are currently working as Assistant Directors in the industry.

Course Contents:

🔰 Development: Learn how to get a concept for a Documentary film. You will learn how to write an outline for your Documentary film with a good structure.

🔰 Pre-Production: You will write a detailed structure, select shooting locations, list people to be interviewed, questions for the interviews, as well as all the required video footage required to create your Documentary film.

🔰 Production: You will shoot live events that support the documentary story and also shoot interviews.

🔰 Post Production: You will get guidance in editing your documentary with video footage and interviews. We will review your edited Documentary film and give suggestions to improve the final film.

🔰 Showcase: You will get our support in entering your finished Documentary film at Film Festivals.

ELIGIBILITY

This online course is for anyone who wants to learn filmmaking. No prior experience is necessary. No age limit and no educational qualifications are required. Must have a passion for making films.

DURATION

The workshop runs for a period of four Weekends.

COACH

Our coach, Mr.Sam Kumar M.Tech (IIT-B), learned filmmaking in the US where he lived for over 10 years. He studied Script Writing directly from SYD FIELD, the godfather of modern script writing. He has taken many master classes and filmmaking workshops while in the US.

He has written, shot, edited and directed Narrative story-based short films, Documentary films, Music videos and Corporate films. He has made over 8 documentary short films, some of them for he made for clients.

His Documentary films shot in Singapore have won awards at International Film Festivals including Germany, Singapore and Vietnam.

His Short Film Parivu won awards in many Indian and International Film Festivals.
